The cause of holes in teeth is usually due

to caries. Before the hole can be repaired,

all the caries has to be removed by the

dentist - in one way or another.


When the dentist drills, healthy parts of

the tooth are unfortunately also removed.

Parts which can never be recovered.

What is more, drilling without anaesthesia

is seldom painless.


However, the "caries drop" Carislov is now

here. It softens all the caries which can

then be carefully scraped away.

Usually without any pain whatsoever and

without affecting the healthy parts of

the tooth.


Sometimes the dentist is still obliged to

use the drill on the outer, less sensitive

parts of the tooth or to remove an old

filling - but only enough to enable Carisolv

to get all the caries.

APPLY
The dentist leaves a drop of Carisolv to work on
the caries.

SCRAPE
All the softened caries is carefully scraped away using a special instrument. The healthy part of the tooth is not affected.

REPAIR
The hole is filled in the usual way.
