Eye Testing

Our registered and

qualified Optometrist will:


- Take a comprehensive history relating to

  your eyes, vision and general health.


- Examine the ocular health of your

  eyes to detect and diagnose
  
  any disease

  (e.g. cataracts, glaucoma,

  diabetic retinopathy)


- Examine and diagnose

  visual disorders.


- Prescribe spectacles

  (if required).


- Fit and prescribe contact lenses

  (if required) and advise on their use

  and maintenance.


- Refer to an ophthalmologist if any eye

  disease is detected or to a medical

  practitioner if a systemic disease

  is detected with an

  ocular manifestation.


Optometric consultations are

bulk billed to Medicare.
