The Warung In Bali
A warung is a public, casual place to eat, often attached to someone's home.
|
|
|
People in Balinese villages visit a warung at least once a day to eat, catch up with friends, have a gossip and a joke and relax.
For the past 17 years people have been flocking to Warung Agus in West Melbourne for the delicious Balinese food, the Balinese ambience and the personal relationships they have developed with Agus and Mary and their fantastic staff.
Agus makes offerings (sesajen) everyday with freshly cooked rice, incense and coffee.

From the garden with umbrellas and lanterns on the street, the profusion of flowers and exotica inside to the extended family of staff, Warung Agus offers beauty and relaxation reminiscent of Bali but closer at hand.
We understand specific food needs such as vegetarian, vegan and allergies.
Banquets for groups of up to 35 people are renowned.
Warung Agus is a non-smoking restaurant.
